BET's first public meeting was a great success and Bluff residents filled the venue
with the biggest public meeting ever recorded. The meeting saw a powerpoint
presentation on the beauty of the Bluff as well as the environmental abuse taking
place particularly by large industry. Many people pledged their support and over
200 people became members of BET on the 22nd November 2007.
